This course will focus on the beginnings of creating a painting.
You first marks – or what is normally called the “drawing” process will bec overed in depth.
You’ll also see Ethan show a demonstration of transferring a photograph on the painting surface. A method you may want to use. It’s up to you.
During the drawing part of the picture making process you’ll watch as it moves right into the underpainting stage. Maybe the most important stage in the entire painting. Watch as a painting is prepared for the overlayers that will eventually be put on, but not before the underpainting has been done to make the overpainting layers possible.
